Bilingual restaurant menu

A long menu, made easier to browse.

FlowLab built a bilingual restaurant menu application that the business is using. It brings English and Chinese dish names, categories, variants and prices into a searchable menu.

The workflow

A menu is more than a picture of a printed page.

A long restaurant menu contains repeated ingredients, different preparations and names in more than one language. The application organises that information so diners can search for a dish or browse the relevant category instead of scanning a menu image.

01

Search in your customers' language

This project supports English and Chinese search, with both dish names visible. For your business, we can design the menu and search around the languages your customers use.

02

Browse by category

Category filters narrow the menu to the dishes a diner wants to explore.

03

See variants and prices together

Preparation choices, price options and market-price labels appear alongside the relevant dish.
