Drawing-based takeoff
Upload a floor plan and prepare the quantity list. AI can propose an initial takeoff, while the electrician checks the drawing and scope; quantities can also be added manually.
Electrical quotation workspace
FlowLab built an electrical quotation application that the business is using. It connects drawing review, quantity takeoff, company rates and a quotation preview, while keeping the final quantities and scope under human review.
The workflow
Preparing an electrical quotation involves more than counting symbols. The estimator needs to review the drawing, confirm quantities, apply the company's rates and check the scope before sharing a quote. The application brings those steps into one workspace rather than treating drawing review and pricing as separate tasks.
Upload a floor plan and prepare the quantity list. AI can propose an initial takeoff, while the electrician checks the drawing and scope; quantities can also be added manually.
Review and adjust the items before pricing. AI can miss or duplicate symbols, so the proposed count is a starting point, not a verified final quantity.
Use the company's rate library to prepare pricing. Materials, labour, markup and tax remain part of the review rather than being decided by the drawing analysis.
Check the client details, quantities, rates and scope in a quotation preview. The interface supports CSV export and printing or saving a PDF after review.
